TTnS Inc. participated in the international technology seminar held in Penang, Malaysia for two days from November 27 to 28, 2024, and shared the latest technology information with the world's top system manufacturers and suppliers in the SMT field. In particular, TTnS, a leader in the global PCBA conformal coating field, presented a cutting-edge "nano-coating particles"-based Super-hydrophobic Conformal Coating Solution that replaces the conventional "solvent"-based conformal coating method, which is recognized as having many technical difficulties and high-cost/low-efficiency productivity, drawing great interest from many attendees.
■ Super-hydrophobic, PCBA Conformal Coating:
- Completed “super-hydrophobic” by combining the ultra-uniform arrangement of coating liquid nano-particles and the high surface-tension characteristics of water
- A new concept coating technology that blocks the root cause of “moisture,” which has been a difficult problem to solve in conventional conformal coatings for the past half century, and solves the piled-up technical problems at once and protects the substrate circuit
- The new concept “super-hydrophobic” conformal coating can be understood by thinking of the principle that life on Earth survives under the primary protective shield provided by the “electromagnetic field” surrounding the Earth, protected from harmful substances such as solar wind and cosmic rays.
